The treatment

How does PIDDDS therapy work?

The starting point is simple: your body functions best when its various systems work well together. If your posture or alignment is off, it creates tension in your muscles, joints and nervous system.

Gentler than you'd expect

The method originates from principles found in Dorn therapy, in which the body is viewed as a single whole, with attention to posture, joints and natural movement. Within PIDDDS this happens with an even gentler, more subtle approach.

Through light touch and targeted stimulation, the nervous system is supported in releasing tension. This gives your body the chance to naturally reorganize connective tissue and muscle tension and come into better balance.

During a treatment, several aspects of health are considered: gentle techniques, mindful movement, nerve stimulation and lifestyle advice bring body and mind back into harmony.

What the therapy focuses on

  • Improvement of your posture
  • Support for natural movement
  • Relaxation of muscles and the nervous system
  • Reduction of physical and mental tension
  • Optimisation of lifestyle and nutrition
  • Strengthening of mental resilience
  • Support for the body's natural recovery process

Through this integrated approach, PIDDDS therapy contributes to better cooperation between body and mind. Because every body responds differently, treatment is always tailored to your personal situation.

Your pathway

From intake to result

1

Intake & assessment

We use an extensive survey to map out where the imbalance lies. That's what the treatment focuses on.

2

Two treatments

At your first appointment you'll receive two gentle, non-invasive treatments on consecutive days. After that, one treatment per visit is enough.

3

Self-training exercises

You'll learn simple exercises you do yourself at home to maintain your alignment.

4

Result

Results are often noticeable within a month.

PIDDDS is complementary and alternative care (CAM) and does not replace a medical diagnosis or treatment. For complaints, please also consult your doctor.
